Oliudreifing is the largest distributor of liquid fuel in Iceland, operating a network of oil terminals, trucks and a boat. We
also run a specialised workshop, servicing gas stations and depots.
Staff
Our staff are specially trained to work in hazardous environments and have received extensive pollution prevention and clean-up training.
Our services and projects include:
- selling a wide variety of equipment to the local oil industry
- collecting waste oil, including the comprehensive treatment of collected oil into usable fuel
- the Environmental Agency of Iceland – our staff are the agency‘s operational response team in oil pollution incidents at sea, in cooperation with the agency and the Coast guard
- a research programme in cooperation with Nordic companies – introducing electrofuels, such as Methane, Methanol and DME, as a substitute for conventional fuels

Oliudreifing's primary concern is safety and the environment. We operate in accordance with the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards, and the ISO 9001 quality standard. Our head office,
distribution system and waste oil treatment system are certified to fulfil the ISO 9001:2008 quality standard.
