Our team
Our experienced team has the skills and knowledge to execute all projects with exceptionally high quality.
The yard employees are steel workers, mechanics, certified welders,
engineers, carpenters and general workers. We also have excellent partnerships with numerous
sub-contractors to ensure a service that meets our customers’ needs.
Over the past year, Slippurinn has also been taking on a number of overseas projects
– from Canada, Greenland, Norway, Russia and more – and our team are therefore well used to servicing foreign companies.
Equipment and facilities
We are well-equipped with both general tools of the trade and special tools to ensure excellent services that
fulfil the needs of our customers. Slippurinn has access to 7,600m2 of
housing as well as a floating dock, slipways and a 300 m long repair quay.
